Welcome to unHEEDED
unHEEDED was born out of my work as a curator of historic houses. Surrounded by art and architecture daily, I tuned into the subtler details that made them extraordinary. There was quiet beauty in worn flagstones and smudged ink on an old drawing. So often overlooked, these details have the potential to enhance our lives.
These are the moments I wanted to share.
Moving to Scotland has created space for me to observe and absorb the daily benefits of nature. Surrounded by lochs, coastline and dark sky forest, endless details catch the eye. Capturing these through photography has opened a whole world of design possibilities. Each design I create reflects an approach to life: of curiosity and compassion for ourselves and the world around us.
unHEEDED brings the beauty I see in the world to you. Whether it is a notebook or a tea towel, each piece is intended as a daily prompt to heed what goes unnoticed in our busy lives and in that moment, take time to reconnect with what brings us joy.
I’m excited to bring my curatorial perspective to this new venture. The houses I worked in taught me that what we live with becomes our story, and when our belongings reflect us, they enhance our everyday.
Go well,
Hannah
