Kusama cushion

This plant, growing on our wall at home, reminds me of the art of Yayoi Kusama (born 1929). The act of creating brings relief to her lifelong fight against anxiety. In 2021, she said, "I followed the thread of art and somehow discovered a path that would allow me to live."
